Die Molteno 4x4 Kompetisie het die naweek van die 5’de November plaasgevind in die OosKaap.
Ons twee spanne, Yolanda en Konrad Romer, en Mornè en Liesl Strydom, het uitstekend gevaar.
Klas A – Konrad en Yolanda Romer behaal ‘n tweede plek.
Klas B – Morné en Liesl Strydom wen klas B.
Algeheel vir die dag behaal Konrad en Yolanda Romer die tweede plek.
Tubestone is baie trots op albei hierdie spanne.

Excellent Service - Letter from Customer
"Hierdie is gelukkig 'n goeie diens verhaal en ons moet ook daarmee vorendag kom. Ek het onlangs 'n gebruikte Audi A6 3.0 TDI gekoop wat afgelewer is aan my met splinternuwe Nankang bande. Die bande het egter n vibrasie veroorsaak en na 2 keer se balanseering was probleem nogsteeds daar. Ek maak toe kontak met Nankang se verteenwoordiger in die Kaap by name Piet Du Toit. Hy het nog dieselfde middag na my deurgekom in die Paarl waar hy dan gevra het dat die bande weer gebalanseer moet word onder sy toesig nodeloos om te se die probleem was nogsteeds daar. Piet bel toe om uit te vind of daar n stel soortgelyke bande beskibaar is. Geen was egter beskikbaar nie en Piet reel met my om my te kontak sodra hy kan help. Ek het intussen seker gemaak dat dit nie n probleem is wat deur 'n rim veroorsaak word nie en het die motor na 'n allooi wiel hersteller geneem. R700 later na toetse bevestig hulle d at die rims nie die oorsaak is nie en ek laat weet Piet. So n week later bel Piet en se dat hy nou bande ontvang het en hy my op n sekere datum weer sal ontmoet in die Paarl.
Op die dag kom Piet daar aan met n stel nuwe bande van Nankang maar verduidelik aan my dat die vorige bande die verkeerde band was vir die spesifieke voertuig. Nadat hy seker gemaak het dat die probleem nogsteeds daar is na my poging om dit op te los vervang hy die bande. Ons gaan ry weer en toe is dit so goed soos in 'n ander voertuig. Probleem opgelos!!! Baie dankie aan Piet en TUBESTONE vir hierdie goeie diens. Ek was jare lank self die eienaar van n nuwe voertuig handelaarskap en sulke uitstekende diens moet verkondig word. Piet dankie vir die manier waarop jy dit gedoen het."

New Branch Opening In Botswana

Oveltrack Wedren
Tubestone is trots om vir Ricus Steenberg, ‘n talentvolle renjaer, te borg met Nankang bande. Ricus het die 27ste Augustus aan Oveltrack deelgeneem en uitstekend gevaar. Hy het in die eerste wedren heel laaste weggespring, maar vyf mededingers verbygesteek. In die tweede rondte het hy ongelukkig ‘n versperring getref en ‘n wiel verloor, wat kosbare punte beteken het.
Die tweede wedren is deur Ricus gewen, en die derde wedren het hy tweede geeïndig, nadat hy sesde weggespring het.
Ricus het algeheel tweede geeïndig, maar is nogsteeds die voorloper vir die jaar. Ons is baie trots om Ricus te borg en is baie opgewonde om te sien hoe hy gaan vaar vorentoe.

Soccer Balls to Rundu Orphanage
Ernest, Rossy and their team from Trentyre Rundu was so kind to hand out sponsored Tubestone and BKT soccer balls to an orphanage in Rundu, Namibia.
The school is run by an organization assisted by Catholic Nuns, CHS. They have for years been very loyal customers at Trentyre Rundu.
The smiles on these faces says it all. Thank you Trentyre Rundu!

Tubestone Celebrates 10 Years of Excellence!
April of this year marked an important milestone for a distribution company that has its roots in humble beginnings. Tubestone is the brainchild of founder and present MD, Pieter Kruger, who recognised the opportunity to establish a distribution company that would become known for representing some of the best tyres and tyre related products the world has to offer.
